WE HAVE THE VICTORY IN CHRIST JESUS!
Our shield of FAITH will extinguish ALL the flaming missiles of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16). Our adversary is defeated but persistent in his attacks. He cannot touch us (I John 5:18), but he does tempt us to believe lies.
Dear Friends, please remember that if God is for us, who can be against us? God empowers us to be overcomers and conquerors in this battle of life. But the key is to do it in HIS POWER and not lean on our own understanding.
Hebrews 12:3 says, “For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
I find that focusing my attention on Jesus and worshipping Him revitalizes my spirit and renews my mind. It’s amazing what praising can do! I want to encourage you to worship our Lord—loudly and joyfully, as you sing of His power and His strength and His forgiveness and His grace and His mercy and His love and His purpose and His plan and His will.
Fixing our eyes and minds on Jesus is the spiritual transforming perspective that lifts us up and gives us wisdom from above to deal with life’s trials and challenges.
I pray that you are experiencing His glorious presence right now!
“In His presence is the fullness of Joy.” (Psalm 16:11)

I’ve gone through some serious seasons of depression in my years. I didn’t always recover well either. Yet one momentous difference between the overwhelming trials that tore me down and the overwhelming trials that I weathered well is simply this: In each I gave up, but in the ones I weathered well, it was to God. When I simply gave up I was on the verge of killing myself, reckless, angry, on a self destruct. When I gave up to God I felt down but secure. Carried by the promises of God that are trustworthy. His intentions are driven by love and they are undefeatable. You can praise, even with a heavy heart, His faithfulness. The storm may rage and it may hurt but our God has another amazing page to write into the tomorrows of your life. A future and a hope. Amazingly, surprisingly, contradictory to what you would expect, you can have immense joy in those hard times when you’re rooted in our God rather than the hardships in front of our eyes. My circumstances are far worse now than when I was pushing a big knife into my own chest. Yet I’m thriving now because I’m rooted in the promises of my Heavenly Father.
